Unlike many of our competitors, our Original Face Reclaimed Oak Floors are double brushed to ensure that both dirt and splinters are removes in both directions. This extra step ensures not only that there are no splinters and the wood is smooth to the touch but also that the removal of dirt and grime in the pores guarantees a strong bond when finish is applied. This process brings out the natural brown hues of the wood and highlights the original saw-marks.

**When milling original face floors it is impossible to guarantee the wood lines up perfectly in every spot. This means the installer will need to take the time to hand scrape or spot sand the high spots for the best results**
